ABSTRACT This article collects the main architectural and pictorial interventions made from the end
of the 15th to the 20th century in the vaults of the Sala de los Reyes. These interventions, founded in the
documentary and graphic sources of each period, mainly those of the 19th and 20th centuries, have been
a useful instrument to recover and achieve an optimal state of conservation for both the roofs and the
pictorial works of the vaults of the alhamíes of said Sala de los Reyes.

RESUMEN En este artículo se recogen las principales intervenciones arquitectónicas y pictóricas veri-
cadas desde nales del siglo XV al siglo XX en las bóvedas de la Sala de los Reyes. Dichas intervencio-
nes, localizadas en las fuentes documentales y grácas de cada época, fundamentalmente las de los
siglos XIX y XX, han sido un instrumento útil para recuperar y lograr un estado de conservación óptimo
tanto para las cubiertas como para las obras pictóricas de las bóvedas de los alhamíes de dicha Sala
de los Reyes.
